Terms of service
The details that matter in February, written now so there is nothing to argue about later.
What unlimited means
One full clearing per qualifying snowfall event. Events separated by more than 24 hours of continued accumulation are counted separately and both are covered. During snowfalls over 20 cm we make multiple passes at no extra charge.
When the clock starts
The response window begins when snowfall ends, not when it begins. Through a multi-day storm we clear on a best-effort basis and complete a full service within the window once accumulation stops.
Parked vehicles
We clear around parked vehicles and cannot clear what sits underneath them. Move the vehicle and we will get that patch on the next visit at no charge.
Marking hazards
Before November 1, mark or remove anything that could be struck under snow: decorative rock, edging, sprinkler heads, low fencing, solar lights, pet stakes. We supply and install marker stakes free on request. Unmarked items are not covered.
Surfaces
We clear to bare surface wherever conditions allow. Loose gravel, damaged asphalt and ice already bonded to the surface can prevent it. We will tell you when that is the case.
Payment
Monthly on the 1st by pre-authorized credit card or e-transfer. 1.5% per month on overdue balances. Service pauses after 15 days past due.
Cancellation
30 days written notice. Prepaid amounts are refunded pro rata, less services rendered and less any promotional discount applied.
Severe weather
Freezing rain and snowfalls over 30 cm can take additional time. We service in route order and will not skip a property.
